Why do you need reparations if you are already living in a country and situation that is superior to the alternative I suggested? You mean you think its unfair to pay these scientists and astronauts hundreds of thousands to go to countries where that kind of money makes them the top 0.1%

Im all for reparations. I think we should be demanding them from the people who are 13% of the population but commit 60% of all violent crime and have been the biggest welfare recipients for decades though.

That sounds fair to me, because one group clearly needs the other more here.

I mean hey if reparations become a thing then a lot of people all over the world can make demands. I'm sure there are plenty of communities who can demand Spain to pay reparations for the harm they caused to their ancestors during the Spanish Inquisition. China, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe can demand reparations from Mongolia for the harm caused by Ghenghis Khan and the Golden Horde. Eastern Orthodox Europeans and Arabs can demand Turkey to pay reparations for the harm caused to them by the Ottoman Empire. Africans can demand reparations from Arabs for benefitting from the slave trade way back in 800 CE.

I mean, the list of aggrieved people are endless.
