Same. When I considered blowing a bunch of cash I saved, I considered the 90s Viper for an investment and the Countach, but the older Aston Martin's were also in my price range. Impossible to maintain it where I live, so I let the pipe dream die.

They're some of the best sounding engines I've heard, so that was the main driver, along with the aesthetics.

Brah, he's kinda right. Aston Martin are Porsche are quite different. Aston is compared to Bentley, Maserati more than Porsche. You pay more for performance with Porsche, but more for luxury with Aston.

Aston Martin is absolutely fantastic, V8 Vantage is one of the cars I'm thinking of scooping up next year, I actually have a line up of vehicles I'm looking at and the Vantage is one of them for a good reason. Incredible exhaust note, you can get them in manual, great car for a driving enthusiast if you enjoy hitting the roads for leisure, or just to clear your mind. Not sure which model(s) you're looking at.

They're definitely a step above the luxury brands, you see a lot less of Aston Martin than other cars.
