Emily Blunt came close to getting the Black Widow role before Scarlett Johansson scooped it up. She thinks she would’ve had the same career as Scarlett, this makes me laugh that a 5/10 actress thinks she would’ve been even as remotely as successful as 10/10 Scarlett Johansson in the same role
People like Black Widow because they want to bone Scarlett Johansson, Emily Blunt would have been a pale comparison.

Never even heard of her until you brought this up itt. Scarlett Johanssen being ridiculously hot definitely helped, but I also knew who she was years before the Avengers movies started coming out. So I'm sure Scarlett's prior established notoriety helped her as well.
