This is my first post on here but before I discuss my issue let me tell you how I am now with my body.
I'm 16 years old and I had a huge weight loss when I 15 years old, at my heaviest point I was 226lbs and 5 foot 9. In 2 months I went from 226lbs to 165lbs 5 foot 10.
Now am at a point of skinny fat where its not really to much fat there just a bunch of loose skin and I don't know what to do. Do I go on a bulk or do I go on a cut so I can tune
out this loose skin of mine and look good at the same time.
On one end I want to go on a bulk but I'm scared that I might just gain more weight than I would anticipate, and on the other end if I go on a cut I feel like I might get to skinny.
I just need a push in the right directions because I've been at this standstill for the longest time

Do I Bulk or Cut

Trust the newbie gains brother, bulk (don't bulk too hard tho, no more than a pound a week) and you'll see mostly muscle gains. This is just about the only time in your life (assuming you intend to stay natural) the gains will come like this, so don't worry. Under 8% and over 20% bf, testosterone is shown to decrease dramatically too, which also hinders your gains.
I believe you should bulk, focus on getting enough protein (at least 100g, preferably 150g per day), and training hard, and if you're seeing more than 1 pound a week of weight gain, adjust your diet to eat slightly less but still in a caloric surplus (cut out something like one soda a day). Cutting will always be faster than bulking, as long as you believe in yourself and train hard!
