from my friend who is an RN -
"The dietary cholesterol we ingest has little to do with you numbers. It's a genetic or a liver thing. Eat more fish with omegas as well as veggies that lower LDL or raise HDL. Red meat is fine. Need that HDL over 50 preferably 70-75. Once that is happening your LDL will fall naturally and even if near 150 it won't matter."
my 2018 numbers were stellar tho. what changed? the diet! steak every night!

You need to make a crock pot full of chicken breast chili every week. You can keep bowls of it for the entire week in your fridge or freezer. I do fridge because I finish it before the week is over EVERY TIME. I eat one big ass bowl every day.
It has 0 grams of saturated fat, tons of fiber, tons of protein, tastes good.
You can do a side of avocado which goes extremely well with the chili, and has a TON of fiber/healthy fat.
EASY AF to reheat, just grab a spoon and eat it.
When I do it with avocado on the side, I get 28g of fiber in that one meal LOL. At first you might chit like 3x/day and fart like a maniac but it settles down and/or you get used to it.
EDIT: recipe.
15oz cans:
3 cans beans, 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can diced tomatos
chicken breast:
2 lbs
veggies:
bell pepper, whole onion, jalapeno (and other hot peppers if you want)
seasoning:
salt/pepper/chili powder/others if you want
1. put beans in strainer and rinse
2. put beans in crockpot
3. chop onion/pepper/jalapenos
4. put in crock pot
5. add whole can and the juice of tomatos
6. add whole can of tomato sauce
7. pre-cook chicken breast in air fryer
8. chop up cooked chicken and add to crockpot
9. add 15g salt, and as much chili powder as you want
mix it all together, put crockpot on high for 5 hours.
done.Last edited by HMFIC_BROWSIN; 09-28-2023 at 04:55 PM.

I get 4 or 5 bowls out of it usually. You can adjust the chicken UP, or buy a massive crock pot and just load that bastard up
I do the salt for flavor, you don't actually need to use ANY... Or you could use less...
I think my measurement is wrong TBH.... now that I'm looking at it, there's no way I am using that much salt....
mind = blown.
I'm using about a TSP, which comes out WAY lower than anything I believed I was measuring.
I use pinto beans, black beans, or kidney beans.Spoiler alert; you die at the end.
