tl;dr:
- my debut novel new millennium boyz is out now - has praise from american psycho author bret easton ellis, douglas coupland, douglas rushkoff, shirley manson, poppy z brite and more
- last book had praise from robert greene (48 laws of power)
- liberals have been trying to cancel it/one-star bombing my review on goodreads cause offended by the content + you can also google some stuff about the gen-z girls who planned a walkout and got the book a content warning/trigger warning from the publisher
- been a miscer since i was 14
- woke brigade has tried to get my book cancelled due to “offensive content”
- would love if fellow bruhs supported me and bought my debut novel about teen boys growing up in 1999/2000 and picked that up on amazon/added to your Goodreads
- publisher doesn't believe a market is out there for transgressive fiction about young men/the book will sell

questions for miscers: can anyone PM/inbox me about the MISC Goodreads group? would love to see if NMB wants to be added

I got a book-deal for a substantial amount when I was 19 from mtv/viacom.... yeah I'll get sales, but tbh it's more about cultural impact for me then book sales and I wrote about a very specific male-experience from the 90s that a lot of liberals are upset about, I'm sure you can research the walkout some gen z girls planned due to being offended by the material and them getting a 'content warning/trigger warning in the book'
I got those comments from those authors cause they wanted to give me them!

I'm gonna be honest I thought you were full of chit, but I entertained it cause the thought of being an author is one of those "in another life" type thought experiments... but it appears you are who you say, and you have a wiki page.
Also you're a demisexual.... whatever the fuk that means lol
Congrats on the book. I normally get my book recommendations from GoodReads and you got some good ratings on it

In to possibly check out. I love reading but I'm pretty picky about what I read.
Either way, congratulations!
How did your score a book deal at 19? Was this the book you got the deal for and it just took awhile to release? Did you have just the bones of the story or the full book done at 19?
How did you get enough buzz to get all those author blurbs? And a Vanity Fair interview?
Congratulations, once again.

this book is oversaturated with 1990s references as a social commentary on the capitalism of the era/the brainwashing and a more realistic look vs the Buzzfeed nostalgia everyone has over y2k
the full book was not done at 19, barely the bones, was just a concept/idea, it went viral on Tumblr and MTV took notice
not sure how the buzz came, I've been working in the music/fashion industry since I was 15 - so you bump shoulders with powerful people and one thing can lead to another
and really appreciate your congratulations dude

it's also crazy to see liberal journalists and headlines spin the book as a meditation on 'toxic masculinity', that wasn't my point - I was just trying to display the type of hyperreal/hyprmasculine world young men were growing up in 1999/2000 and connecting it to the 'longing' of boys today.. weird af
