There are workarounds to these where the borrowers still have to pay the cost for the capital so the lenders get the same return from the borrower as they would if they charged interest, however it's not called "interest." But these institutions already exist and they make tons of money on these loans.

Unfortunately I do not have the time to watch this entire video. Nevertheless, I've worked on Wall Street for a long time and worked at firms that did Sharia compliant financings. But it makes no difference if you want to call it interest or not because there is still a cost to the capital in which the lender/investor would get the same IRR as they would if they charged interest. It's simply a workaround to the process. Like if you want to borrow money for a house, the lender would buy it for you, you then pay the lender rent (not an "interest" wink wink) in which part of the money goes towards paying for the house and the rest into their pockets. Once it's paid back the house becomes yours. So there is no "interest" but the cost of capital is still the same as if they did charge interest. At the end of the day, there are some legal differences but the numbers are the same.

Even if that were true, Judaism is still a religion. It's like saying Catholicism can't be a religion because they aren't religious enough so they're a race... any race can be a Catholic and any race can be Jewish.
