    Ironmaster Olympic Plates

Has anyone purchased the Ironmaster rubber coated olympic plates? The price doesn't seem bad compared to Rep or Titan. If so what do you think of them? I got rid of my leg press, so having thinner weights that I can fit on the leg press is no longer a requirement for me. I like the fact that they're grip plates also. I just have a hard time justifying buying matching pretty new weights, but what the hell, I deserve it.
I'm considering getting a set that includes their bar. It's an OB-86. From what I can see this is just a rebranded CAP bar that you can get on Amazon for around $150. My only barbell is a Hampton 7' oly bar which serves me fine. I thought a black one would look nice, but I may just pass on the bar and get the weights.

Can't help on the Ironmaster, but handles on olympic plates are really nice to have.

I have 2 sets of Body Solid black rubber plates and 2 sets of the colored rubber plates. Black plates get something called bloom that looks like they are turning grey
in color. (just like the rubber on cars) Mothers Back to Black brings the black back. I have only had to use it once. The colored rubber does not do that. Maybe it is just the Body Solid plates?

I have 2 old Weider colored rubber handle sets that look almost new after 25 years....

Those plates you are considering look pretty nice...

Thanks for the tip on Mother's Back to Black.
