FWiW I'm not particularly broad-shouldered and like dumbbell bench presses just fine on the 14" pad. Though I think it might not be great for chest-supported DB rows. Never even tried because my IM SB Pro is so great for them. I do like having both narrow and wide options. 12" is probably right for a single-bench gym.
What exercises do you prefer to use the 14" incline on over your SB pro?
