Not at all surprised-there is no classic Barbie film for it to reinvent & little girls grew up with it as it is ingrained in western culture, so was always likely to do well with with the mothers who will take their kids who also play with the figures along. Here we are talking about totally reinventing an all-time beloved Hollywood classic-keeping the name, but Snow White is now brown, the dwarfs no longer exist & there is no romance.

I really don't care about movie themes, however it's very dumb of Disney to do this. Snow Whites entire thing is that she's extremely fair... There are dwarves, she gets saved by a prince.. those are core elements to the story

If you don't want those things then make a new movie, it doesn't make sense to alter core elements of the original story
