Biblical times actually occurred. Actual men from the BC time periods wrote the books and stories in the OT. Who do you think they really were? Trolls ffs? The Bible is words. Belief in those words is a far more powerful thing tbh. And the words written by men later collaborated and compiled by other men has made a believer out of most of the people in the world. There are scoffers out there. They atheists are in the minority I believe. Most the population believes in god. Just most of them do not serve him. Because it’s not easy at all.
