Reports coming in that the Russian 106th Airborne Division attacked yesterday, advanced four kilometers and seized Orekhovo-Vasilievka, a village north of Bakhmut.

This would mean the Russians made a comparable advance in 48 hours to the five-month Ukrainian slog to Klescheevka.

This stab was likely launched to relieve pressure further south, the Russians have a long history by now of doing local attacks purely to draw off reserves.

Caveat - this news is unconfirmed at this time. Neither side has offered hard proof of possession, although it's probably telling that the Ukrainians haven't made any of their own claims (that I know of anyways) to refute it.
