I think the user reviews are being bombarded by fans who haven’t played the game. Like TLOU 2 was by Xbox fanboys. Except this by WWE fans who hate on aew.

Reading reviews it’s scores fairly well. Said the exploding barbwire death matches are great. There’s a great selection of weapons. Just it lacks roster, and the entrances aren’t good.
Most are saying the pc version is best. But the average CRITIC scores are 6-7/10. It’s a good outing and it’s an even a welcomed alternative to wwe Games.

I got the elite edition for about $70 with the Matt Hardy dlc included. I just had to pick this one up as it's totally my style of wrestling game and a type of fighting game that I have been wanting for generations now. Couldn't care less about what critics or some idiots have to say about it either, I mean I think most of the chit they praise sucks so what good is their praise anyways?

This is just fun No Mercy N64 style wrestling. In an era when every fighting game has to be some 2sweaty4u online-centric experience or trying to sell you 3 season passes in order to have most of the roster, it's nice to see something that is just fun to play with a good solo experience that doesn't take it's self too seriously.

I have 4 matches 4-0 record with “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega. I’m going to wake up tomorrow and I predict before 6am I’ll be doing up an exploding barbwire match. It wouldn’t let me earlier because it wasn’t finished downloading to my hardrive. So I couldn’t select that portion of the start screen menu yet. It’s 100 % now been alerted but I’m heading to bed. Yeah. I’m sexed out anymore. My dinky is sore from all the pussy lol. But yeah I’m wiped out ! Sleep tight fellas!

It’s very good. The most detailed well executed signature moves and finishing move animations in a wrestling game. The electric barbwire match is hot fire.

I wrestled a guy who chose Moxley in my first exploding barbwire rope match. The more I knocked mox into the electrified ropes the more I wanted to do that to punk. Do I did I com match against him and it was so addictive! I can watch that man fry and bleed all day long!!!!!!!

I absolutely love this game. I have been looking forward to this style of wrestling game since the WCW Mayhem and WWF No Mercy days. I don't pay attention to the critics or game reviews online. I think if you like the subject content then fine. I have enjoyed this game and can't wait to see what is next for the AEW brand of gaming.

I love the content. I like the online and exhibitions. I haven’t messed with the story road yet. I never was a fan of the creation/caw portions of wrestling games. I prefer playing as actual wrestlers and don’t care to create them.

I think it’s better than any modern wwe wrestling game.

Graphics are passable.
Gameplay and controls are as near perfect as any wrestling game can get in 2023.

Looks chit srs. Wrestling games are pretty dog chit in general. They're only fun with drinking buddies. Lose a match have 3 sips. If it's Iron Man mode every pin you get, other guy has 2 sips etc land a finisher 1 sip.
Used to play that as a pre drinking game before going into town. Got wasted lols

Yeah this has turned out to be precisely what I wanted out of a wrestling game. It isn't made to be realistic or appeal to WWE fanboys and that is exactly what I love about it.

My biggest achievement yet. I play a casino match online and I actually win 1. That was a huge trophy. So much fun playing this . It’s aew version of a mini Royal rumble I guess?
