I have a half hour unpaid break during my shift.
But I only take ten minutes of that break then return to my shift.
When I leave I then extend my finish time by 20 minutes(on the time card).
Thoughts?

"and when it had blown itself out, but one white man lived aboard the Venturer, and that was the blood stained giant about whom the chanting blacks thronged to cast themselves prostrate on the bloody deck and beat their heads against the boards in an ecstasy of hero-worship."

If you were my employee and you chose to use 10 minutes only of your half hour unpaid break, that's your choice and I'd fire your ass for lying about your finish time which, I'm sure, is a breach of the T&Cs of your employment contract unless you have that agreement in writing with your boss

I did the exact same at a major global corporation a few years ago (because it took close to two hours in peak hour to get home, so wanted to leave a little earlier to avoid the peak)
Boss was absolutely irate about it. Apparently it was in the company policy that you must take your lunch break. Seems stupid to me.
Anyway now I'm at another major global corporation in the same field, and did it when I was in the office, it was great. But now I wfh full time.
