    Amputee

I had my left foot amputated in September and had a prosthetic ten weeks later. I’ve always worked out and even when I didn’t have a prosthetic, I still came to the gym. I’ve recently had to take my prosthetic off for some weeks because of another problem but want to keep working on my legs. I always do isolation exercises but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to keep leg muscles firing without being able to do squats, deadlifts, etc. I am already doing lots of stuff with bands and some machines.

    Thanks.

Just do the exercises you are able to, keep the muscles stimulated: Leg extensions, leg curls, lunges, glute bridges ect.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
