    To recomp at 30

Hello everybody. I'm wondering if it's feasible to maintain muscle and lose fat at 30. Just kinda eating every few hours but nothing major.

Keeping the protein high. I like the feel of 170lbs but like the fat level of when I'm 160. I'm wondering if I just keep lifting weights and eating protein veggies fat and some carbs I'll recomp like I did at 20.

Not really looking to bulk to 180+ and cut because I don't like that big belly.

    Thank you

It sounds like you don't understand what recomp is.

That explains my why my social life is how it is.

I'm saying I used to eat big meals every 3 hours but lately I've been just having a small serving of veggies with rice or potatoes and a large portion of protein a few times a day. I like being lean, but I don't like the scrawny feeling. So I figure around 170 lean would be good for me.

I've been heavier before. I don't like the belly that comes with it. My genetics, my arms have really low fat, any weight I gain goes to the belly, I could be 200 and have veiny jacked arms, but with a gut I don't enjoy.

Sounds like you didn't know how to recomp at 20 with all that mish-mash you just said.

This question was pretty hard to read. Many people haven't even physically peaked yet at 30.

Very much possible; I went a year off lifting and am back to 2020/21 strength levels in 5.5 months and gained only around 4-5 lb during the process.
