Honestly...who has Dariush Beaten? no one really. He seems sluggish when he fights, he does come forward and will bring on the fight but DoBronx 's technique is too tight and precise.
I don't think Charles beats Islam though sadly.

Maybe a fighter can chime in as I have no clue but I wonder what goes through their minds when they strut around for 5 rounds barely trying. Or is Nunes just so difficult to fight that Aldana gave up in the first round mentally? You've put in all this work, training for 18 years and having 10+ fights in the UFC - then go out and don't put together any combos.

Felt bad for Dariush last night. I've been keeping my eye on him since I saw him fight Michael Johnson in Nashville in 2015.
I remember I was sitting beside his family and friends (can't remember exactly, but something like that), and the hillbillies in the crowd were chanting "U.S.A... U.S.A!" and his family/friends were so confused and upset by that. I remember them saying, "But he is an American... he's from California".
Anyway I remember the crowd was pissed that Dariush took the decision.

The "GOAT" female fighter only gets 2 pages in her retirement fight. Damn. Brutal.
The comment section in my stream was laughing and cheering the announcement too lol.
Maybe now we won't get the main event of PPV wasted on someone who constantly steamrolls their opponents 50-43. Her loss against Pena was pretty much her being bored of winning all the time and doing UFC a favor.
Fighters like Chris Cyborg and Nunes should have their own division where they just bash each other twice a year and no one else.

well damn. It seems that everybody except Islam just wilts under the extreme pressure that Charles puts on people in the stand up. He immediately puts fighters on the back foot. Guy has bricks for fists and despite his lanky frame most of the LW division can't withstand his power/strength. Kinda puts into perspective how good Islam is.
Would like to see that fight again and see if Charles is able to not get rekt because he really looked bad in that fight.positivity brah crew

Yes, I thought they completely nailed the Colorado event. It was one of the most fun events I have watched in a while. Even my gf that tunes out for a lot of events I watch really enjoyed the ONE event, I think largely due to Stamp's dancing, and even said afterward if ONE ever comes to socal we need to go.
If they acquired the athletes from Bellator that would expand their roster of fighters that would appeal more to the US audience, I think they have the best chance at creating some healthy competition for UFC if that is at all possible. Although their rules, particularly knees to the head of grounded opponents might also limit their ability to hold events in the US. It was pretty controversial for being allowed in Colorado and condemned by the ABC which is very bad for any hopes of success in the US.
