About 6 months ago i noticed a pop and sching sensation in my left side when training OHP which was sore but went away the next day from memory.
Since then i've been struggling with aches between my shoulder blades to the left of the spine.
I believe ive narrowed it down to the rhomboids as facial release and stretching daily helps but only treats the symptoms.
I can feel the ache when i retract my scapula.
When i do horizontal rows whether its cable, db, bb or any other variation i can feel the strain on the rhomboid.
I can also feel more of a mind muscle on my left when doing lat pulldowns so not sure if im tight and therefore leaning over to that side as my right shoulder drops lower than my left slightly
I saw a chiro and they said it looks like just a muscle imbalance from left to right but im not fully convinced
