Smile What genres of music are appropriate for exercising?

There is a wide range of music genres that can be suitable for exercising, as the choice largely depends on personal preference and the type of exercise being performed. Here are some popular genres that are often associated with exercising:

Pop: Pop music is known for its catchy melodies and upbeat rhythms, making it a popular choice for workouts. Many pop songs have energetic beats that can help maintain a good tempo during exercises.

Electronic/Dance: Electronic music, including sub-genres like EDM (Electronic Dance Music), techno, and house, is often designed to be high-energy and can provide a steady and consistent rhythm for workouts. The pulsating beats and driving basslines can help maintain a good pace during cardio exercises.

Hip-Hop/Rap: Hip-hop and rap music often have strong and energetic beats, making them a popular choice for workouts. The rhythmic patterns and motivational lyrics can provide a powerful boost of energy and motivation during exercise.

Rock: Rock music, characterized by its guitar-driven sound and powerful vocals, can be a great choice for more intense workouts or strength training sessions. The energetic and often aggressive nature of rock music can help increase focus and intensity during workouts.

Dance/Pop Remixes: Remixes of popular dance or pop songs often have an increased tempo and a more intense beat, making them suitable for high-intensity workouts or cardio exercises. These remixes often add extra energy and excitement to familiar tunes.

Motivational/Inspiring: There are various genres of music that feature motivational and inspiring themes. These could include uplifting pop ballads, powerful anthems, or even instrumental tracks that evoke a sense of determination and drive.

Remember, the most important factor when choosing music for exercising is finding something that you personally enjoy and that keeps you motivated. Experiment with different genres and playlists to discover what works best for your specific workouts and fitness goals.

I don't listen to any music while exercising, as find it distracting,
    annoying and emotionally exhausting.

Either energetic techno/dance, or heavy AF metal. Nothing else for me.
    Back off, Warchild.

    Seriously.
