Why are Fish Oil supplements so expensive? Are there any affordable ones just as good

Is there any fish oil just as good as Nordic Naturals but more affordable?

Nordic Naturals is the only fish oil I used before that legit helped me with my headaches. I bought some cheap bottle at CVS a while ago and that stuff is garbage I had fish burps and I couldn't stomach it.

I keep reading that the cheap stuff that cost 9 dollars or 19 dollars is rancid, but the top quality ones like Nordic Naturals that coast like 60 bucks a bottle are better made and more effective. Is there truth to this?

You pay for what you get. A lot of cheap fish oil products dont have the right balance of omegas and have the impurities. (Ded fkn Srs)

From what i remember the expensive ones (mostly) are stored/produced properly. The cheap ones are a waste and a rip off. Not sure. What type of fish? The only Fish I like is Salmon and its expensive, I cant stand the fishy fish from the ocean which are high in mercury.

Also dont you live right near a lake so you can basically catch your own fish for free and cut costs? So its easy for you to say man lol

Redfish, trout, sacalait, bluegill, catfish, sturgeon, red snapper, tuna, mackerel, gaspergou, crab, shrimp, shark to name a few.

And yes, I’m surrounded by freshwater, brackish and the Gulf of Mexico. I catch 100% of the fish I eat.

I just copped some of the Kirkland Signature Wild Alaskan fish oil from Costco yesterday to try and help with joint pain and general lubrication

Have only taken one so far but I feel good, didn’t have any stomach issues with it and my knee already doesn’t hurt as much

Seems like it’s good quality stuff, made in USA from wild caught Alaskan Pollock and Salmon (and currently on sale at your local Costco)
