So I've used an online calorie calculator to get an estimate on how many calories I should eat to lose 1-2 pounds peer week.
age : 24
gender: male
height 5'9/10
weight 213/ 96.4kg
It came to around 1900-2000kcal I decided to round it down to 1800kcal (seems pretty low for a guy over 200lbs) I've been strictly counting my calories through myftinesspal for two weeks and I haven't lose half a pound (lol) I don't know If I should lower my calories even more to like 1500 or my scale is broken. This is usually my diet :
Breakfast - 3 whole eggs, 3 slices of wheat bread, cabbage and parsley
Dinner - Whole grain rice/pasta, Chicken breast, mushroom and paprika
Supper - Oatmeal with skimmed milk, banana and honey.
This comes up to around 1800kcal.

1. a. Nutrition you need to understand
https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...hp?t=173439001
1. b. You need to make sure to hit your minimums for protein (.8 g per lb of bodyweight), fat (.35 g per lb of bodyweight), and fiber
2. a. Online calculators are estimates ONLY. Adjust your calories based on your weight loss/gain on an ongoing basis. In your case, if you have no lost any weight and would like to lose weight, eat less. Snacks / binge eating counts towards calories.
2. b. How long have you been following this diet? It is common to stall in weight loss/gain for up to 3 weeks at a time.
3. a. Take creatine monohydrate, the absolute cheapest you can find.
3. b. Take this multivitamin

You mention what you eat; but are you literally measuring/weighing everything that enters your mouth?

Yeah i'm pretty high weight right now, but back in the day when I was 6"2 180 pounds i'd do the measuring low calorie diets... big mistake... you are gonna end up like me one day lol.
We aren't machines, enjoy your life. The fact that you are working out is enough, some of the most shredded guys on planet earth eat like a morbidly obese person at a buffet at times.

"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

The sad fact is, if you're strictly monitoring your calories and you're not losing, lower them. Everyone's metabolism is different. After much trial and error, I've found that I lose about 1-2 lbs. a week on 1300 calories/day, and that includes working out 4x/week and walking 2-4 mi. on my off-days. I don't recommend going that low; I'm just saying to drop your calories bit by bit until you see the scales start to move. Two pounds a week is real progress; three pounds would be fantastic, but harder.
