And just remember, we still have miscers shilling for these morons...
Something about how the government decided to let Walmarts sell nonessentials while they forced other stores to close, because Walmarts have special anticovid filtration in their HVAC systems.
Said statement is from a "brilliant academic" who is of "above average intelligence ".
Just LOL @ pseudointellectuals srs.

Yes. I don't see political leanings as that significant though. What's despicable to me is how fukked we are when something serious comes up.
Covid wasn't even that bad, and our overall reaction to it was insane. Especially in hindsight.
I used to think the elite were building those underground network of bunkers to protect themselves from foreign armies and bombs. It's to protect themselves from us LOL.

"Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."

I think the only point of the response was to have a response. We just did a bunch of random chit.
There is some logic here about Walmart if you dig for it, I'm not convinced it wasn't just coincidence and not saying it was handled correctly though. In the event of a national catastrophic emergency these large companies with big footprints and efficient distribution networks have a lot of advantages that will have to leveraged.

Well yes, the logic is that apparently walmarts have special anti covid filtration in their HVAC systems, or at least that's what one resident pandemic expert on the misc claimed.
In the real world however, letting people go shop for a TV at Walmart instead of Best Buy just ends up cramming more people into a smaller space... and this was a proven fact, coupled with another supposed mitigation response of shortening opening hours.
But yes, we just did a bunch of random chit that power hungry individuals decided upon, without any scientific reasoning behind it. As long as people recognize that,it's all good.
The problem is, if we ever do get a serious pandemic... the level of trust in the medical community, the governments, etc. has eroded so far because of this random chit that they claim was based on scientific reason, but was really just a bunch of people calling shots that they had no business calling... the public will be even less likely to go along with any guidelines or restrictions.

I agree to an extent, and honestly we had to have some kind of response because initially we didn’t know exactly what we were dealing with. But as it became apparent that our understanding was incorrect we didn’t adjust, but rather just doubled down. And the response was clearly steered in a very specific direction. Studies into any type of treatments were outright mocked and demonized. Not saying what would or would not have helped from a treatment perspective, but it’s obvious why leaders pushed us in that direction. They also knowingly inflated the numbers/exaggerated the dangers. And yes I don’t have a problem with trying to develop a vaccine, but when it’s abundantly clear that the injections don’t work we should’ve just admitted it early on, instead the country once again doubled down on a blatantly incorrect view. The list goes on and on. So it wasn’t just “we had a poor response”….it was “our population was pushed in a very specific direction that resulted in TONS of harm while allowing certain entities to profit enormously”. It wasn’t random.+positive crew+

The distribution network thing is kinda plausible but it still doesn’t require shutting down the mom and pop shops.
They did that on purpose.
Just like churches were closed but liquor stores and abortion clinics were fine. I’m not even religious but that’s total bullchit.
People lost their jobs. Lost their businesses. Lots of people died because of how covid was “handled” and a lot of people should be held accountable for that.Royals Crew
