    Shoulder popped

So this is the 3rd time my shoulder has popped within a few years. How it pops is I lay on my side with my arm laying in the ground L shaped with my chest. After a while of laying down it pops. Is this the tendons or Ligaments? I really don’t want to go get an MRI. With this hurting I can’t lift heavy weights. Could someone please help me with noticing what it is?

Also how to repair it and I guess I won’t be laying on my left side again.

Sorry, it took so long I didn’t get a notification about your post. Yes I can still move it. It just hurts when I lift weights with my left arm.

Yes, I’m laying down when it pops. I can move it afterwards. Definitely sounds like a tear.

I'd definitely go see a doctor as soon as possible.
