Actually I think the world has more losers and retards and they connect. Like at work I prefer to work hard and do the right thing because it’s just who I am and I want to have my job in the morning but I see a lot of people stealing and hanging out to do drugs and there are females they connect with because they do those things. If you are honestly good looking, you should be able to go on a few dates a week. The more experience you get, the more comfortable and confident you will become. Eventually dates will lead into flings and then relationships if you want. or just have a rotation, some chicks are cool with that. I didn't really date much until my late 20s. Wasn't really looking for anything more than drunk 1 night stands until then lmao

cause you're too scared to approach anybody in these outings and it's hard to get a social circle after school. if you haven't already been you could join a community college even if it was for a semester and try your luck meeting people with the clubs and stuff but remember most people in college are like a decade younger than you so idk how awkward it would be with you trying to fit in and if you're still too scared to put yourself out there you'll only have wasted a bunch of $. dont blow off my advice i gave earlier i think its about all you can do brah.

The good thing about chasing something until you get it and then realizing "this ain't it" is that now you know. You know that isn't what you were looking for. So look somewhere else...could be psychology, or philosophy, or religion, or community, or physicality.

Personally I think fixing your relationship with yourself, knowing yourself, is the place to start. And that can take a long time.

On social circles that's just how it is OP. Relationships take time to grow.

After school we don't often put in all that much time with other people on a regular basis, so most commonly people have primary school friends maybe, or college friends, or first big corporate job friends, maybe other work related friendships for people who serve in the military or as first responders or are interns together.

Because their education/employment causes them to be in contact regularly for big chunks of time and can set their experience apart from the experiences of others who haven't shared in it.

Some people do still make church friends or "mom friends" though a lot less than before. Same with neighbors. Though often those relationships don't really rise above being acquaintances.
