    Post breaking a Plateau

Don't know if this is the correct place for this topic, so i apologize in advace.

some context, im 28, 6ft2in tall, I started the gym about a year and a half ago, i used to weight 140-145lb at the start, very skinny, now i weight around 180lb.

My goal is to reach 200lb, but as of the last 2 months i dont seem to go past 180lb, i increased my diet, increased my workout volume, and the funny thing is i see progress in the weight i can lift, but no increase in size or weight, I'm decently lean but i dont feel getting leaner to justify the increase in strength while maintaining weight.

Any tips on how you guys broke through a plateau? i would like to know routines or supplements that helped you, since eating more/workout more is staple for this.

You need to count calories to ensure a surplus. Find maintenance (bw x14) and add in 200-300 calories and monitor weight gain.

Counting calories is the only way you'd know if you were eating in a deficit or a surplus. If you're not gaining weight, you're not eating in a surplus. If you're losing weight, you're in a deficit. If your weight is static, you're either eating at maintenance or the exercise you're doing is burning your surplus caloric intake to maintenance.
