Capitalize on Latinos moving right and you can keep them red for generations like Irish being beholden to Democrats because of Kennedy or Viets/Cubans voting red because Dems are commies.

I would've said DeSantis was ideal after the midterms, but he's been going too hard right which would be fine if he wasn't planning on running for President, scaring off moderates like Trump did.
And now the fact he couldn't settle for being VP and in prime position for winning in 2028 makes me question the judgement of him or whoever mistakenly told him to run while Trump still owns the party.

Within minutes, the Washington ComPost would call whomever it is "The Latino Face of White Supremacy", just like they do to any minority that escapes the Democrat plantation and thinks for themselves.
"At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied,
demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats."

That's to tell their white liberal audience he's not one of the good minorities so it's okay to attack them, like they do with Clarence Thomas.
but the only thing keeping many black and brown adults voting blue is their identities, if Republicans lost the cloud of "racism" and cast a wider net they could capitalize on the demographic changes - but it seems like they'd rather lose and complain about what they get from losing than adapt.

He should pick the best person for the job regardless of whatever box they check.
But unfortunately you’re right identify politics do play a role.
A female VP would help to bring suburban women back to the GOP. This might be the most crucial voter base. I don’t know a ton about her, but Kristi Noem seems like a good candidate. She had arguably the best record on Covid, particularly better than DeSantis.
A Hispanic running mate might be helpful however it looks like that demographic is naturally moving to the right, I don’t think that trend would change no matter who the pick is.
A Black man running mate could be an underrated choice too because Black men are moving right and similar to working class Rust Belt Whites they don’t trust establishment politicians so the orange man has a unique advantage that other conservatives don’t. Trump and Bryon Donalds would be a hell of a ticket.

Yeah I think a woman would help a little if it means the suburban moms who hate him but are suffering under Biden would hold their noses and vote Trump.
I still think a Latino will get the highest net reward, not a white presenting Latino but an actual brown Hispanic the communities will like, imagine if Republicans turned the demographic shift on it's head on Democrats. Soros has recently bought up lots of Hispanic radio stations to use his propaganda to bring them back to the left, he knows they're vulnerable there but Republicans are too stupid to see it and that's why they get beat.
A black man wouldn't matter, black people are almost totally subservient to Democrats and will pick a white Democrat over a black Republican every time.

It doesn't happen overnight, it's a slow process
POLITICS & POLICY
The overlooked reason the Latino vote is turning right
The overall arc of progress suggests that more Hispanics are going to be voting conservative in the future.
Most Latinos voted for Democrats in last week’s elections. But Republican support among Hispanic voters has grown by 10 points since 2018, continuing a dozen-year trend of America’s largest ethnic minority group drifting in a more politically conservative direction. Though this shift has engendered much Democratic finger-pointing about potentially off-putting messaging (e.g., promotion of the term “Latinx”) and lack of outreach, the primary cause may be much simpler: namely, the rapidly improving socio-economic position of Latinos in America.
Trump lost the EC by the slimmest of margins, if you believe the results, the path to victory is there but he can't keep playing to his shrinking base.

I'm not saying they should shun the Hispanic vote. But if the strategy is to depend on the Hispanic vote to win presidential elections in the future, I got some bad newz.
I'm an absolutely disastrous environment for Democrats in 2022, the GOP got 39% of the Hispanic vote. A few percentage points of that can be attributed to the shift of Florida Hispanics and the Texas border counties to the GOP. Both of these areas have a very different demographic of Hispanic compared to other parts of the country. The other parts of the country where the Hispanic population is growing are getting bluer by the day.
Hispanics just aren't conservative, and as their population continues to grow, eventually even if the GOP consistently wins 40% of their vote, it still won't be enough*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

Latinos vote for right wing candidates in their own countries and have no reason to be attached to the left outside of idpol, 40%+ is not bad at all, better than it is for all other minorities probably. Don't 40% of whites vote Democrat? That's a significant amount considering the power white libs have.
I see no reason why it's not worth it to try and bring in more Latino voters instead of acting like ethnic groups never flip when history shows they always do.

Because her entire thing is foreign policy, and because she has the respect of everyone around her, even her bitter enemies like Hillary. And it really boiled down to Tucker and Trump agreeing with her vision for the world. Unfortunately, they got Fox to ditch Tucker and Trump in response.
People may think this election is about abortion, trannies, or some other bullchit. But to the people who run the country, it's about Ukraine -- which also means American hegemony and what sort of future the planet will have.
The coming election may determine whether we will have a third world war. I'm not even kidding. And in the strangest twist of fate imaginable, it seems Trump may be the best shot at preventing it, in my opinion.

Latinos tend to vote for the left in their own countries. But even the ones that do vote conservative in their own countries wind up voting left here. This trend is common everywhere in the west. Hindu nationalist Modi supporters become Biden supporters once they come to America. Socially conservative Muslims come to Europe and then vote left wing.
Again, not saying that we should be shunning the Latino vote. But you're gonna have a bad time if you try to depend on them for conservative electoral victories.*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

So do exactly what Democrats do, as in a bunch of pathetic sleazy pandering to get votes. And then complain about clown world while being the hypocrites who added fuel to the fire.
I don't expect Trump to do sh*t on immigration like he didn't the first time, and with latino VP he might even build a big beautiful door to let more hombres in.
