I'm finding out now that Brutus Beefcake was not only looked down on in some circles, but some people legit couldnt stand him- and theres a story he stole jewelry from Hulk Hogan? Does any one have further insight on Beefcake being a chit head?

That he beat Mr Perfect at WM 6, that he was in main events because he was Hogan's buddy-the worst of all was Starrcade 1994 against Hogan. He actually was a decent worker from late 1988 to early 1990 & worked hard in televised shows-but it just didn't make sense that he was main eventing Summer Slam 1989 & the rematch PPV in December & being involved with Hogan on television all the time.

He did what I guarentee what almost anyone else in his position would do and used his connections to get ahead.
Yeah he was kept around in decent spots because he was hogan's friend and hogan wanted his friend to be at work with him.
People are gonna be salty but I guarentee they would do the same in that position, or at the very least they wouldn't turn down anything offered. Due to their friendship.
Also wtf how does this turn into gay orgies and the nasty boys dp'ibg Brooke, ffs man.

Nope, they got dq'd against Money Inc & WM9 & then Hogan stole belt from Yoko after he had beaten Bret in the main event. That run was bizarre-he went to Japan the following month & said the WWF belt was worthless next to the IWGP title, then he worked sporadic house shows with Beefer against the Beverly Bros & Money Inc & I don't think he even defended the belt for over 2 months until Yoko beat him for it at KOTR in June. He looked really small compared to the 1984-1992 run as well, really was off the gas brother.

I honestly thought Beefcake was just a guy hogan brought along with him as far as he could. I'm even going to guess beefcake was on thunder in paradise once or twice. but to hear hes very unliked in the industry and resented is crazy to me. but brook being pimped to the nasty boys was a turn i wasnt expecting
