    Workout split

    Hi All

Can you guys advise if my current workout split is any good for building muscle.

Equipment: Rack of dumbbells and a bench.

3x a week full body workout split.

    Sets per muscle group.

    Legs 3 x sets. 6- 10 reps
Hip Hinge 3x sets 6-10 reps
    Chest 3 x sets 6-10 rep
    Back 3 x sets 6-10 reps
    Calves 3 x sets 6 - 10 reps
    Upper Traps. 3 x sets. 6-10 reps

    Shoulders / Biceps / Triceps 2 x sets each 6- 10 reps

Feel like I'm not getting much growth with this ATM unless I'm doing something wrong.

Your workout split would make more sense if you actually listed the exercises.

But if you're not happy with the results and you don't know if your split is "any good" then you likely are better off doing a proper novice program. Some examples are in the stickies at the top of this forum but there are many others online.

Read the sticky on the Fierce 5 program. There is a variation that uses just dumb bells and a flat bench. That's the same equipment that I have btw.

I'd recommend a proper novice program like Fierce 5 or one of Lyle Mcdonalds programs. Reading this article from Lyle will help you get on a proper program: https://bodyrecomposition.com/muscle...ght-training-4
