Hello! I used to take creatine when i worked out in my late 20s early 30s but stopped all that when i started having kids. I am now in my early 40s getting back into working out with my wife. Started up the protein powder/high protein diet and wanted to start taking creatine again to see how it goes. I took my first scoop tonight (decided not to do a loading phase with this monohydrate) so just one scoop... then later i thought to google drug interactions between creatine and prilosec/omeprazole. Some scary sounding stuff there but it's a very small sample size with no context on anyone's doses, health, age, pre-existing medical conditions etc etc. Anyone here take creatine and prilosec? I have very mild ocassional afib as well so the possible heart side effects also kinda worry me. I used to get afib a lot worse when i drank more but i havent drank alcohol in about 4 years now. Any input much appreciated

Really weird though... when i first searched this up i found a link up top of the search results that said there were 89 people showing negative interactions with omeprazole. Lots of stuff listed including depression, blood pressure problems, etc etc but the worst seemed to be a pretty bad heart issue which sounded really scary when i looked THAT up.
But now every time i search it i get "No drug interaction" soooo not sure what happened haha
Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask on here in case anyone has recent/long term experience taking these items.

Sorry it wouldn't let me edit my last message... figured out where i saw this though, When i search creatine & prilosec instead of omeprazole i see the site with the negative interactions listed. When i search creatine and omeprazole specifically it says no interactions haha
