First of all I want to state I'm 16 of that could have something to do with the pain. (At least that's what my mom said)
I've recently started going to the gym and I did pretty good for last week's leg day. I tried the leg press for the first time in my life and was pretty proud of me after I somehow did 195 kg (the max the machine had). This week however squatting hurt way more and my leg press max went from 195kg to 85kg. I just simply couldn't do more. It didn't feel like muscle soreness either. Now my quads hurt and it's hard for me to get out of bed. What did I do wrong and if it's a serious injury how much time do I have to pause lifting for?
Sorry if there are typos. English isn't my first language.
Edit: i just realized it says I'm 53 years old . No idea how that happened it didnt even let me choose my age.

Could just be strain from going so heavy, rest it up for a bit and pace yourself better in the future. Also leg press is far easier than squats, it's good if you want to focus on technique or have an injury though.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
