I watched til the first episode where the girls were adults. Worth finishing? Just got busy and didn't get to finish it.
I watched it same time as Rings of Power, now that is a show I wont be finishing(at episode 2) lol. But House of the Dragon was mildly better that is why I wanna give it a chance.

Yeah I read about them changing the cast mid season and when I started watching it, I really liked the young actress and was dreading the change. She had a unique look and actual charisma for once in a female on screen.Originally Posted by 3Reich

It's a step up in quality comparative to the final two seasons of GOT but it's by no means flawless. Definitely a few plot choices which were weird and I kinda wish they'd kept the younger actresses after the time skip.
I'd say if you've got nothing else to watch then it's a decent season.

I have read the book it's based on. Story is pretty basic and like 2 chapters of a real GoT book in comparison.
TV show could have been great but too many blacks ruined it for me. By their portrayal Daenerys Targaryen should have been lightskin and not pure white excellence.
But at the end of the day it's still written by GRRM so it's better than 90% of the stuff out there and no amount of "diversity" can ruin that. So, give it a go OP if you like the fantasy genre.
