I don't disagree with loan forgiveness per se, but without setting up systems to keep school costs in check, we will get this crisis to reoccur every few years as college costs keep sky rocketing. Before federal student loans were guaranteed, college was nowhere near this expensive. Very much a treatment of the sympton and not the cause.

After the massive damages are settled the Trump Org will have to sink or swim with two court-appointed monitors watching to make sure they do everything by the book. I honestly don't know that they can.

I suppose he could own property as an individual. The lack of an LLC, however, would mean that his liability wouldn't be limited. The government encourages the growth of businesses by giving corporations very favorable treatment and a lot of benefits to incentivize their creation and investment. Without that, he could personally be on the hook for issues rather than being protected by the corporate seal, there are serious tax implications, and many, many other aspects. It's no way to run a business.

Trump is begging the court to not make him pay the 80 million until after the appeal. He either doesn’t have the money, or doesn’t believe he can win the appeal.

Within the next month he’ll need to come up with over half a billion. Unless he finds help soon, he’ll probably be forced to sell assets. That’ll be a tough pill to swallow. Sad!
