As someone that has been critical about the point of previous Jake Paul events, this was a great show from start to finish. Well, if you don't count that sad f'ed up Nick Diaz appearance at the end, that was hard to watch. Nick really looks to be struggling with something.
Planned or not the main event was exactly what it was supposed to be. That ref took an awful long time restarting the fight after stepping in when Jake was hurt, but whatever, shadiness is a fundamental aspect of all boxing in every form as long as it has existed.
Nate showed his durability, toughness, fight IQ and showmanship. He walks out losing the boxing match decision he had zero chance of winning in any condition, but winning the show and the fight while also taking care of his whole team.Last edited by Cartiac; 08-06-2023 at 01:38 AM.

Nate's ability to constantly lose fights but get more love and appreciation is hilarious.
He got battered by Masvidal but the fight was stopped due to a cut just as Nate was getting warmed up, Masvidal was done, source: trust me bro, clear W for Nate
He got outclassed by Leon for 5 rounds but wobbled him at the end and clowned him so we all know in a fight to the death Leon is finished bruh, another Nate W
He lost (basically) every round against Jake but snatched a gilly in boxing gloves which means in a real fight Jake is going to sleep, easy W for Nate
Anyone see Nick acting even more strange than usual? The guy is a drug/alcohol/gambling addict who is desperate for a payday (srs). As one of my all time favorites, very sad.

So that fight was fukking horrible and I’m ashamed of myself for thinking Diaz was going to win it. What an embarrassment all the way around. I don’t think I’ll be tuning into anymore boxing fights like that, no way I can support that anymore. Diaz was not only out of shape, he looked fukking lost in there and tried to follow in Nicks footsteps with antics while getting his shiet pushed in. I’d neg myself if I could.
Edit: some of you idiots think that fight was entertaining? Nate didn’t even turn his wrist for 80% of his punches and bum rushed Paul 100 times. It was embarrassing and neither of them should call their selves professional boxers. You could literally put CM punk in there instead of Nate and the fight would have looked the same.Last edited by chalup; 08-06-2023 at 08:59 AM.
I was always looking at the finger pointing at
the moon. Now I'm just looking at the moon.
And there’s no me looking. There’s just looking.

Yeah dude it was beyond embarrassing, then nick randomly tweeking out with shades on at night. I have no idea what I watched but I will not be tuning in to another Paul or Diaz fight. I support paul for what he is doing and actually trying, but Diaz trying his absolute best to ruin his legacy is mind boggling. If he does another fight like this he will go out like Ferguson.

Don't be so hard on yourself my friend. I've been exactly where you are, getting the gang together for a Jake Paul event expecting to critique some top level professional boxing skills and left completely disappointing they didn't throw more jabs, turn over their punches and go to the body! Also couldn't believe a guy like Nate Diaz was pulling such antics in a fight! Why didn't the ref take a point for Nate repeatedly turning his back that is f'n illegal.
