Also the best car for massive cock gobblers.
Who cares about the acceleration when it looks so bland and boring?Permanent reminder that MBisonSon is a fgt => https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=181456073

had a fun run in with a model y the other day on a long stretch of straight 4 lane rural road. he was 2 cars ahead of me at a stop light.
he floors it on green and takes off. i end up behind him at the next set of lights. i knew he was doing it again so i decide to just fuk with him. right as he took off i was on his ass and never let up until it got to very illegal speeds.
he didn't expect another car on the road to be as fast off the line as his tesla. lol. he then slows down so he could catch the red at the next light. another car was in the next lane so i end up behind him again.
i see his car squat for a second and knew he was launching it. thing shot off the line and i was just there behind him maybe 2 car lengths. i had to turn off but had a good chuckle.

I had a model 3 dual motor long range for a week as a rental. It was a fun little car to drive. Going back to my ICE I really missed the instant pop you got when you hit the accelerator.
Fit and quality seemed about on par with a Camry or a Kia or other mid-range economy sedans. I didnt crawl all over it looking for problems though.
Didnt really think much about range while I had it, the island I was on had chargers everywhere. I charged it once at a shopping mall when we went for dinner and then overnight at the hotel before I took it back to the airport.------♥♥-----

Same. I roll on the regular ones but a Plaid pulled on me on the highway, I literally did not care lol. Zero skill, zero effort. You press a button, err pedal and everything is done for you. You racing driver now. Meanwhile me in my slow ass car, I'll drop a couple of gears in a tunnel and let her rip - all is good in the world, you'll never get that in an RC car.

Those things are hugely over-rated. Way too heavy to actually race and the 1/4 mile trick only works vs normie cars. Actual drag cars or bikes are much faster. You can't just bolt some slicks on a tesla and race real race cars. A clapped out civic with a junkyard turbo and some laughing gas will smoke a tesla. For like 8 grand.

Ugly car, srs.
Tesla needs to update the aesthetics on it.Tsar Ivan IV Grozny:

Been thinking the same for Real Estate Agent wife for all her running around and for a daily, but Model Y Performance. She currently drives my 2018 Tundra to the tune of 14mpg.
Then can keep miles off my 2020 Jeep SRT and give me an excuse to throw a supercharger on it.............. and still get beat by the Model Y, lol.

Does that even need to be said? Its a direct market competitor for Camry/Forte/Accord and other dull as dirt mid-sized econo-box commuter cars. Its intended use is parked at home at night and outside the office during the day. It's not marketed to enthusiasts (or anyone,) at all.

What do you consider fun?
I don't personally see the appeal in constantly shifting gears, more of a pain in the ass to be honest but clearly I'm not a car guy. Could care less about the looks, flooring it and having the instant torque never gets old (and for comparison, doing it in my friends ferrari is more fun than my bmw).
Would probably get a model s for my next car because I live in the city/have a short commute and the weather never gets too cold here...and of course for that acceleration - it's most definitely fun.
Flooring it in a loud and/or slow car just feels cringe af thoughLast edited by AriesTH; 05-03-2023 at 09:59 AM.
