It's not really a ruling. They just declined to interfere with lower court rulings allowing the athlete to compete while she appeals the lower court ruling that upheld a ban on transgender women competing in women's sports. Alito did say in a statement joined by Thomas dissenting from the decision said the case “concerns an important issue that this Court is likely to be required to address in the near future.”

Who do you think made it into an issue, republicans or democrats?

Is passing laws to prevent children from receiving hormone therapy or other conversion measures a sign of “republicans being fixated on the issue”? Is trying to make it illegal for men to compete against women in sports a sign of “fixating on the issue”? Is trying to prevent men from being placed in prisons with women an example of “being fixated on the issue”? Or are they simply trying to course correct from the rapid celebration into ClownWorld?


The truth is, both conservatives and liberal viewpoints are needed in a healthy, balanced society. We need to be pushed forward, but we also need to be careful and calculated with which path forward we take. Honest and open discussion should take place and the pros/cons weighed as well as how it affects different percentages of the population and to what extent. When things go too far right it’s bad and when things go too far left it’s bad. What we see now it a world that is way too far left. And there is no open or honest discussion. You can get fined for saying a woman isn’t a man, or lose your job. These measures aren’t good for society as a whole and honestly if things aren’t corrected we are probably watching an empire collapse in real-time(no hyperbole). Not just because of this issue, but this is a perfect example of how far off the rails things can go when a culture doesn’t have the aforementioned balance between the right and left.
