how tf is that $60
$5 per beer
maybe $12 each for the burger and wings
That's not even $40 with some generous assumptions. You tipping $20?
absolute rip off for the beers, still a ripoff but less so for the food.
You can buy a case of budweiser for hardly $20 at most gas stations, lolLast edited by Jacobcapra; 03-30-2023 at 08:42 PM.

I randomly went to Texas Roadhouse last week, and with tip I ended up having an $85 bill.
The drinks kill you at these places. I actually had a Filet Mignon and Ribs, and some Boneless Wings. Which were like $40 together(not terrible for the steak quality). I assumed beer was relatively cheap, but it was like $6 for a Bud Light and $9 for Long Island Ice Tea.
I had never been to one, but I'd go back. Was actually surprised by the food quality.

Always mystifies me when people go to restaurants and then complain afterwards about the prices.
There is a very simple trick to avoid sticker shock.
next time you look at a menu, you will notice there are little number next to the items. That little number is the price of that item."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Inflation bro, the currency itself has a lower value now
But food always has value, no matter the price
So the people who grow/catch/hunt the food do not go hungry
And their extra food is to feed people by selling for a good profit
Also brother don't be going to applebees by yourself find a chick to take with youBeans. Cleans. Gasoline.

That's ridiculous bro, the stock market went down the chitter, handed out all that money
Now just normal families who are out of work going homeless, rent going super high in many places
Life is very slow and inexpensive where I live deep in the forests and rivers and meadows and swamps
The sun is always bright and it's almost always bright and hot and humid even when raining at times
And everybody is armed to the teeth got them boys out with night vision goggles blastin pigs for good money
Tell you what there is nothing like going fishing in the dead of midnight on a warm Summer night
Cause these people ain't ever gonna go hungry but Lord have mercy because they are armedBeans. Cleans. Gasoline.
