It's called maidcore. As for what that means, here's the best explanation I've come across: "The unifying elements is that it tends to always be electronic music, with some rock and metal touches, and usually has a depressive atmosphere to it." The maid part comes from these fictional maid characters invented on 2channel, the Japanese predecessor to 4chan. Some indie musicians took on the guise of the maids.
