Just picked up a 44pack can of Animal Pak. I am taking one pack a day and working out 4 days a week. I will see if it makes a difference.
I too noticed a lot of negative responses to Animal Pak. Not sure I understand why since these have been around for a very long time. You would figure that Animal Pak is a proven supplement becase of that.
Oh well, to each his own.

when shopping for multi's do not go the cheap way. the reason those multi's are so cheap is because there synthetic. check to make sure that they are all natural vitamins. also check to make sure that there not just givning you 100% RDA . that percentage is based on the minimum amount a body needs before disease sets in. people who are lifting need more than the RDA

Normally I wouldn't buy GNC-made products, but their Mega-Men formula is a fantastic multi. It's time released, relatively inexpensive, and is designed to be taken both in the am & pm, for maximum effectivness. Why multi's, I also wouldn't go too cheap, but there's also no reason to spend tons of $$$ on a freakin' vitamin when there are more important supps out there.

Check this link out:

It has some great advice about supplements and how you should take them. I don't agree with everything, but the Multivite section is good. Laters.

Picking Multi's
Guys,
Nutrition Action newsletter has a great article on how to pick your multivitamin. VERY in depth, and it gives reasons why some formulas should NOT contain certain amounts of vitamins.
I am not as high on some of the multi's promoted on this and other sites...not for what they did not have, rather for what they had TOO much of. Listen, I fully agree that the RDA is pitiful for most of the vitamins and minerals, but some of these formulas have massive amounts of vitamins. The newer research is not so supportive of higher dosages of a few of these vitamins, yet the maker's have not updated their formulas. Some of the research they list regarding Vitamin A and Retinol is alarming. A quote from this section:
"Roche Vitamins, a major manufacturer of Vitamin A, says that many of the vitamin makers it supplies have agreed to lower their retinol levels to 2,500 IU."
Don't take my word for it, read it yourself. I admit that I am conservative on some things, but I have ALWAYS been a big promoter of vitamin supplementation....long before the dietitian's started coming on board.
I get my multi-vitamin from Sam's! The multi with herbs is about $9 a bottle for 250 days. I add the Sam's calcium, zinc and magnesium supplement pills (2 a day for 1000mg calcium), and I also take extra Folic Acid, B6 and B12.

a great multi-vitamin
I have tried a new multi-vitamin on the market, "The Greatest Vitamin In The World" and found it to be an excellent product that nutrionally supports the body in every aspect. I was sceptical at first, especially with it being a multi-vitamin, but found this to be a shock, and actually feel a lot better while taking it.
Take a look at there website:

all the info you need to know about this multivitamin is right on the website and you can order from there as well.
Try it, I did and was very happy with the results.try this new multi-vitamin: The Greatest Vitamin In The World.
