Im scared i might have a hernia

Okay, so im 16 years old and i have been working out for a while. Today i hit a new PR on squat (90kg) and right after i lifted the weight, i felt this burning like pain somewhere between my crotch and my belly button, a little on the left. I squatted with a belt and i think i can breathe into my stomach pretty well, but i did some research and im scared it might be a hernia. It doesnt hurt anymore or anything, i just want to hear your opinions if i should do something with it. Thanks

Go to a doctor, no way we can diagnose you over a forum; but from experience, get checked when a hernia gets bad it goes all bad.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

It is important that you take any new pain seriously, especially since it is around your abdomen area. It could be a hernia, but it is always best to talk to your doctor to get a professional opinion. If the pain persists or worsens, it is recommended that you seek medical attention right away. Other than that, make sure to properly warm up and stretch before working out, use correct form and breathing techniques when lifting, and listen to your body if anything feels off.

If it doesn't hurt anymore it might be fine, as putting on a belt does significantly put a lot of pressure on the abdominal area (since you're literally squeezing your abdominal muscles together). But yea, do go to a doctor if you are seriously concerned

I would recommend that you go to a doctor and go lighter on squats. Working on your core and doing light lower back extensions might help as well
