Miata is probably one of the top ten most fun cars every made. Has the perfect amount of power for its weight and agility.
For twisty back roads it's absurdly fun. I wish I had one.

Buying one when I did was probably one of the best vehicle purchases I ever made. Value has only kept creeping up since then, and it's been the perfect pure lightweight sports car alternative to the (comparatively) big GT cars I got.

If I had space for a fun car I would get a rwd coupe with manual gearbox but as it is I have one family SUV and two 8000lb work vans I legit don't want another car to worry about and I have nowhere to park it if I did. I know those feels tho OP manual is goat.

Your traditional manual transmission is outdated technology for sure. That being said, I still love manual and don't ever want to have a car that's not manual.

However, we should be more concerned with "save the engines", instead of "save the manuals" at this point. Stupid "green" policies for EV vehicles being tossed around in the EU and parts of the US.

Yeah, tell me about it. It's such a joke, hopefully hydrogen cars and eco-fuel will save us from battery powered tech. I have ZERO interest in owning a battery powered car. That just sounds like a long term nightmare, and I like to own my cars.
