I had my first and only growth spurt at about 14 as well. I was 6'1 (and still am to this day) but I was also pushing 330 lbs at the time. With the help of this site ironically, I lost 100lbs in about a year without loose skin. Kids have lightning fast metabolisms, I know I did. He didn't get that way being active he got that way sitting around glued to some electronic device for hours a day. He's gonna lose weight even if he keeps with his current diet.
