The "Russian Volunteer Corp," I do have to complement Ukraine and Western Intelligence for adding this baloney group name to the lexicon when the group is part of the Ukrainian army. Like when when started arming ISIS in Syria but called them by a different name because of the obvious PR issue.

In a video posted by the RDK, at least four fighters are shown on a residential road near the southern outskirts of Nova Tavolzhanka, about a mile from the border of Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast. Two fighters face the camera: one holding the blue flag of the RDK while another says the RDK was the only force left in the town. “Since [Governor of Belgorod Oblast Vyacheslav Gladkov] cannot control his territory, we will talk with his leaders, who are in Moscow,” they said, according to a machine translation.

Storyful could not independently confirm the extent of RDK’s control in the town, or if it had been fully abandoned by Russian forces.

No they are russians that want Belgorod Oblast to be part of Ukraine. Probably they have some Ukrainian roots, but they just want independence from Putin's nazi regime. I can understand them, since people with ukrainian roots in Belgorod oblast are repressed by the russian regime and there are a lot of people with ukrainian roots in Belgorod. If you'd make them vote, I bet a majority would want Belgorod to join Ukraine.
