Hopefully Burns can feed Masvidal some humble pie. Think Alex will be more dominant this time, as he knows where he stands better vs Israel's mma skills and will be more agressive earlier on - guessing 2nd round KO.

This is going to be a tough fight for both fighters. Pereira gets tougher each fight and he is strong.

Israel will have to not ever let up or Pereira will take that opportunity to take the fight. Both are dangerous.

Going with Israel, too. He cannot let up. He was winning the last fight, but Pereira is super-tough and a champion.

Main event is a tough one to call. Alex has beat Israel three times now so it is hard to argue with those results.....BUT...If we look at their last fight, Alex almost got put away in the first round. He was quite literally saved by the bell. He was also losing pretty convincingly going into the final round. In terms of strategy, I wonder if Izzy is gonna say "f'ck it" and grapple with AP. He had a lot of success grappling in the last fight and it may make AP a bit gun shy and throw off his striking. If I had to pick though, I would go with Alex simply because he is 3-0 now against Izzy and all skills aside, that is a pretty strong psychological edge... but I can truly see it going either way.

As a side note, I gotta give props to Izzy. He didn't dodge Alex and he dealt with that loss like an absolute Boss.

Good assessment, Karl. I think that Israel will be on a mission and like you mentioned the last fight - Israel is smart and he learned the lesson that a super-tough dude like Alex can re-group fast, so if you hurt him, you better finish him off right away or he will come back to kill. Alex is very strong.

Both fighters will be in top shape.

Israel wins in 2, by KO. Wow. He suffocated Alex like he said to not give him any way to recoup.
