I’m waiting a bit. Ps5 has some visual issues, series x has some deadzone/control issues.

I will pick it up eventually as the original is in my goat list, but I can hold off for now

it was amazing... highly recommend this game to anyone who never played the original, but for me i'ma hold off on the game til I can get my mind off hogwarts legacy + diablo iv about to drop.

the demo was dope and they changed a ton of things on it, this is way more than a simple remake.

Died 4 times in the demo as well, that much of a noob i am nowadays

Prefer the more gritty horror atmosphere in RE2 Vs doing WWE moves on zombies but will probs pick it up at some point anyway as I enjoyed 2 and 3 remakes. Capcom knows how to remake a game.

I love that this one's way more action-oriented, too. I get that isn't true "survival horror" for fans of the genre.

I was a huge fan of the first few Dead Rising games for this reason. Which makes me wonder...

This game is going to be a must buy for people who haven't played RE4. This is a very well done remake, and the original game didn't even need a remake.

The game comes out 23rd. It's just the demo i have to go on.

I really like 4, 7, 8, with 8 (village) being my newer favorite after 4. Re2 remake is very good too.

It's literally RE4 in space but much scarier. IMO RE4 is more over the top, but both are definitely the pinnacles of action horror with more focus on tension/being overwhelmed. If you're looking for survival horror, neither are for you (though the DS remake does better with the interconnected level design/metroidvania and resource management aspects better than the OG; unfortunately, it's also ultimately a lot easier).

Bruh that's 2deep4me. I think every game deserves one remake and that's it. I don't mind remasters where they use new console tech to push the old games but the remakeception is a bad direction to go lol
