Talking Does beer count as a supplement?

I'm looking to try homebrewing or microbrewing or whatever you want to call it..

    Anyone have any tips?

I think I want to get the first kit off this list but I could be easily persuaded to get a different one:

Let me know if that's a good pick or a bad pick. Thanks

I always recommend starting off with simple things first. Buying a brewers kit sometimes just leads to dust collection. See if you actually like homebrewing.

Look up Kvass and try to make some home recipes with the containers you have at home before buying kits.

Easy to make bevvies for home consumption are Kvass (pretty fast), Spruce Beers, and if you don't mind waiting a little longer for fermentation, Mead.

These three are definitely fun to make.

I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

Can't look up the site from here, but the kits aren't a bad way to try out the process. One thing you could do, when it comes to kits like Mr. Beer, is get the kit, but swap out the included yeast and buy a fresh packet of liquid yeast from your local homebrew store. Maybe some idiophor for sanitizing purposes. That'll improve your odds and improve the two biggest priorities 1) Sanitization and 2) Fresh yeast.
