Nice.
Broh I went to a tasting menu where you get really great several spirits 1 drink each for a sheit load of money. Had supernova ardbeg, frog 20 something, van winkle bourbon, and a stunning 40 year old cognac for $700 per bottle. Meng… those were the days… I even felt mad, I thought: “so THIS is cognac??? Wtf have they been feeding us?”
I remember I had George t stagg at home too. Mmmmm….

When I run out of fireball I make due with the chitty cognac.
On really bad nights, I go back to whiskey and open one of these bottles.
I hate to do it, but fireball is hard to find these daysI've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

I love 12 year old regular Elijah Craig! And the price and strength are amazing.
Whistle pig rye regular 10 year old is cool.
I liked Laddie 10 a decade ago.
My favorite ardbeg used to be the cask strength, they used to call it corryvrekhan, don’t know if that’s still around. Meng… that was unforgettable.

12s are good enough for me tbh. Joking about the $ stuff, I’m saving up like most people these days. And I have plenty of other places that need my money more than my toilet or ego.
Cheers bud, running a bar must be tough. I knew bar managers (not owners) who became good friends that had lots of stories.I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

Honestly, Jack treats me well enough. Laphroaig for smokier stuff
In winter. Whiskey-wise Angels Envy for women. Glenlivet is solid scotch.
But as a whiskey brah I cannot discount the bigger picture. Jeffersons, Woodford Reserve, Kings County, etc.
I drink much less lately though. Imo it’s good to know drinks, but not good to live with them. Delicate relationship, you know?I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

I did, but I felt regular was balanced out better and price was much better too…
You remember George r stagg standing around for $50? Lol those were the days, now I’m afraid to imagine, $600? Maybe
I just remembered a massive sherry brute bomb called abunah (origin) by a’berlour. That was like 62% alcohol and heavy sherry brutalness, you could legit feel that going down your throat.
