It isn't that those guys are better than Fields, it's just that no team is going to give up a Day 2 pick for Fields. Part of that is Fields' contract. You are only getting the guy for one season in exchange for whatever pick you give up (as you have to believe no team would want to pick up his 5th year option which the deadline for is 5/2). He'll get moved when the Bears wash their hands of it and just except a 4th or 5th round pick......

Assuming Caleb is off the table/going #1, the only two other QB's I'd be in on are Daniels (requires moving into top 3) or Penix Jr. (requires moving back into the end of the 1st).

You are not winning anything meaningful with Darnald, Dobbs and the Mormon Missle as your 3 QB's. Keep wasting JJ's prime like they did with Moss

Right, I keep hearing "move up to #5 or 6 to get McCarthy"---I think he'd be a huge reach at #11!

Dobbs is actually gone. QB's right now are Darnold, Mullens, and Hall (Mormon).

I think an ideal scenario is to stay at #11 and use it on a big DT and then move back into the round around pick #30 and take Penix Jr. If he stays injury free in camp/preseason (big if), he easily can beat out Darnold IMO.

Funny I actually have always believed in Baker and was glad to see his comeback this past year. But it needs to feel right.

Yep, they could have gotten Wilson for way cheaper. Unreal how dumb they are by giving such a massive contract to a 35 year old player coming off a major achilles injury.
