Sherman isn’t necessarily wrong. The NFLPA routinely got butthurt with Brady for taking below market deals because they were then used against other quarterbacks in their negotiations. That doesn’t make it their responsibility to look out for anyone else, but his point is valid that Mahomes and Josh Allen didn’t do much to boost the market

Didn't Lamar tweet out a while back that the Ravens offered him $200 million guaranteed and he turned it down because he wanted more guaranteed? Probably should have taken that. He'd still be pretty young when that contract was up in 4 years or so.

Franchise tags are bullchit. Ravens are fukking Lamar right now. If you don't want him, trade him or release him. The non-exclusive tag means the Ravens can match an offer another team makes, so why would other teams do all the work, just for the Ravens to match it?
