Hey everyone. I need some advice. In the past year, I have pulled a back muscle at least 3 times in the same spot while doing deadlifts. I have been weightlifting for about 6 years now and am aware of my form while doing deadlifts. The most recent time, I was deadlifting half the weight I usually would, while I pulled it. It felt like a rubber band breaking across my back. I am getting pretty annoyed and frankly scared of hurting my back while doing deadlifts. The athlete side of me is getting frustrated and doesn't want to give up doing deadlifts all together. What do y'all think? Pros and cons to doing deadlifts would be very helpful.
