The Combat Sport Commission of Western Australia does not condone any form of cheating within the Combat Sports Industry. The Commission has clear codes and policies that align with the World Anti- Doping Agency (WADA) and bans the misuse of intravenous drips. The Commission has no conclusive evidence that any athlete at the UFC 284 event held at RAC Arena has breached WADA or the Commission's policies.
The Commission has not received a complaint relating to any athlete at the UFC 284 event held at RAC Arena. The Commission invites anyone with any relevant information to contact us by emailing CombatSport@dlgsc.wa.gov.au.
Until someone makes a complaint or true evidence comes to light, the commission is not investigating Makhachev at this moment in time.

Where did you meet him? I kinda but not really met him very briefly at Bellator 290 as he was rushing through the aisle trying to not draw attention and he seemed like a nice enough guy. He is also really the only guy out there actually doing a damn thing to stand up for fighters and create leverage for them in negotations with the UFC. He seems pretty dam good at his job to me. I think there needs to be more guys like Ali in the industry representing the best interest of fighters doing the work to get them paid inside and outside the cage and shifting some of that power balance to the fighters' side.

Who is the IV cheat you are referring too, Volk? It has been made very clear Islam didn't cheat and there wasn't even any investigation or complaint filed. Volk is just a whiny little bitch that can't take his loss like a man, which shouldn't be any surprise considering he is only a manlet with absolutely no integrity talking all about respect before the fight and immediately becomes embarrassing disrespectful to everyone after he gets his ass beat.
You might also love to know Volk kills himself to make featherweight, he is proven one of the most extreme weight cutters in UFC, fighting at featherweight bigger than a lot of lightweights. Even if Volk magically grew 4 inches Islam would still kick his ass, it would actually be easier.

To give perspective from someone who is in the medical field and has fought.
1) The rule to allow 100 ml of IV fluid/12 hrs is made to be broken. Nobody will track that and 100mls is useless, it simply covers your ass for have the IV site discovered.
2) any physician would approve IV hydration. There is evidence dehydration worsens concussions, also it's not a big deal so anyone would just say yes he needs to be hydrated. The rule doesn't prevent massive cuts so in my opinion it's a dangerous rule.
3) Everyone likely rehydrates with IVs. It would be easy to hide and you can train anyone to start one in 10 mins, especially on lean vascular fighters. I'm not sure why they picked such a visible site.Tobacco prostitute

Using a clip after the fight doesn't count, it's just another excuse for losing along with the claim that Islam said used IV's. Show something from before the fight.
Passively aggressive? Do you really get your feelings hurt that easily? Guessing your height starts with 5' if you're this sensitive about things. Sorry m8.no crew crew

Are you discrediting Volk's performance? Volk stated many times that there were no size or strength disadvantages on his side.

I kinda agree with this. people's hate for Islam and discontentment of a close decision. people get too invested on a personal level where they search for anything that conforms to what they feel should happen because they don't like the guy and feel the other guy was wronged. if the situation was reversed those same people wouldn't say anything. it's cope. Islam clearly won that 3 rounds to 2. people would be up in arms if he wore illegal shorts to the match.
with that said though.
Abdel-Aziz deleting his tweet looks pretty bad lmao.
but apparently from what I've read this isn't a clear cut issue. and obviously no direct evidence that Islam used an IV. but I believe there are exceptions to that, i.e: recommended by a physician.positivity brah crew

Makes post-weigh in hydration and electrolyte / vitamin / nutrient replenish MUCH easier as it directly introduced into the blood stream vs. drinking / eating and having it go through your digestive system. Happens much faster and with higher rate of absorption.
Commissions have banned the practice since in theory it promotes fighter safety by making weight cutting harder, and hopefully discouraging the severity of the practice. In reality, a very strong case can be made that fighters are still gonna cut the weight, and banning IV's makes it so fighters are more at risk once they step foot in the cage due to not being as replenished.
It is my understanding that only Australia's Commission flat bans any IV use. The test for IV's is supposedly testing for microplastics in the blood draw.
So very much agree, if the UFC allows for ANY IV use at all, then the microplastics will be in the sample. Basically meaning that the allowable amount of IV is just BS, makes it unenforceable, and that all savvy fighters will continue with post weigh in IV use.
I thought his camp and the Commission, all said the bruise was from a Commission blood draw?
Where is the official complaint from Volk's camp? The direct evidence would also easily be shown in the various blood tests since it tests for the micro-plastics from the saline / hydration bags.
So all I'm seeing is Dan Hooker originally spreading a rumor with zero evidence, then Ali making a stupid tweet then deleting the tweet as to not give credence to Hooker's baseless allegations, and Volk and his camp continuing with excuses as to why he was cheated (like most all fighters do).
